New Website, Update on airdrop round 2 & the Yield Garden
Thanks to the collaborative effort of Yield community members this week, yield.credit is a placeholder no more! Check out the Yield front page at yield.credit. It’s a minimalistic homepage that gives a high-level overview of the Yield lending platform as well as linking to the relevant social channels. Up until now, only yield.vercel.app, the (beta) app, was available for direct linking and while it quickly gets you into things, it didn’t do much for explanation. The new homepage goes a long way in solving this.
YLD Airdrop — Round 2
Also this week, the last snapshot of the second (and last) round of the YLD airdrops was completed (Tuesday, UTC time). As some have noticed, no tokens have been sent yet. Like the previously linked article says, distribution will take place over a few days. At this time, the list is being filtered and once done, the airdrop will commence starting with distribution to the top liquidity providers of both YLD pools and ending with the top YLD token holders.
The Yield Garden
The YLD liquidity mining program will, optimistically, begin this weekend with the launch of the Garden, Yield’s slightly modified version of Ampleforth’s widely used liquidity pool token staking contract. 50,000 YLD is allocated for the program. Liquidity providers on either the YLD-ETH Uniswap pool or YLD-RFI Uniswap pool will be able to stake their tokens in the Yield geyser, dubbed the Garden, and begin mining their share of the 50K YLD proportional to their share in the underlying Uniswap liquidity pools. The program will last for at least 45 days. A future announcement will precede the liquidity mining program launch.
